Wedding dress: Chosen designer?

Salam…lame sudaaa ms ff tidak menulis. Tiada update yang terbaru mahupun menarik untuk ms ff warwarkan mungkin. Just a piece or two of picisan update saje.

ms ff sudahpun meet-up dengan designer pojaan hati!!! weee...well, poja tak poja sangatla tapi setakat nih masih poja lagik la sbb mereka cool n sempoi juge sgt lepak saja. siapa mereke? jeng jeng jeng...

tapi sebelum tu...same tak, same tak dua2 pict ni? Hehehe…

Well, yess...I have made up my mind (finally!) utk hire WANPA as my designer for both the solemnization and reception dresses! As well as for the groom’s reception attire, WANPA akan buat. yeahhhh... 

demi berjumpe encik wan last week, ms ff terpaksa mengharungi badai traffic congestion yang sgt teruk sampai 2 jam! Padahal kalau hari biase and not during the peak hours, it would take me about 20 mins saja utk pegi kt office mereka itu. Haihs. Salah ms ff jugak sbb wrong timing. A note to all, kalo ade perhimpunan umno  + its raining that day, baiklah jangan mencari pasal nk kluar rumah tak tentu pasal utk masuk kl city centre. Horrible I tell u! huhhh…

So pegi aritu sempat la snap a few picts here and there and measurement utk buat baju juge sudah diambil. Tapi masalahnye, tuan empunya badan je tak decide lagik mahu kaler ape utk wedding reception boleh? Haha…sungguh tidak senonoh ms ff ni. Rase macam dah decide tapi sbnrnye tak decide lagi. Hish susah betol. Kaler pon jadik satu masalah. Haha…

So far dealing with both wan and rashid has been a good experience for ms ff and I hope the workmanship would also be a good one. Walopon cool + lepak + sempoi, it is hoped that hasil keje mereka excellent + superb + fantastic. Fingers crossed !

ape2 pon, up till today, ms ff would recommend WANPA to others! Enough said. :)

Countdown: 99 days

salam...november has been a packed month for ms ff - not in terms of works, but in terms of travelling...ngehsss...2 weeks of work then UK trip then Sarawak trip pule. now that i've recovered from the post-travelling mood, i should now be focusing on the W-day progress.

semalam i.e. 30 NOVEMBER 2011, maka genaplah 100 hari countdown utk W-day ms ff. and hari ini i.e. 01 DECEMBER 2011, the countdown has officially begins with only 2 digits!

ms ff dah boleh foresee all the chaos yang bakal datang sedebik dekat ms ff...ohhh...:(

starting from yesterday, ms ff has made a promise to myself that each day there should be a progress, despite how small it is. alhamdulillah bermula semalam juge ms ff dah officially start to put my binoculars on for photographers.

seperti biase, market research kena buat. jadi kena lah rajin bertanye here and there about who's in who's out, who's good who's not, who fits the budget who does not, yada yada yada...satu photographer telah pon ms ff terjah semalam...tp mungkin i'll make a seperate entry on that and try to review it more critically so that boleh benefit b2b laen...hopefully...

hari ini and petang ini, ms ff akan pergi jumpe dengan designer baju yang haritu ms ff jumpe and janji nak write about. ms ff harap ms ff boleh decide harini juge about the wedding dress! inshaAllah ameen...

untuk b2b laen, sile jangan ikut ape yang ms ff buat sekarang. last minute thing really could give you heart-attacks maybe not today maybe not tomorrow BUT maybe on just days before your big day!

last week ms ff contact WanPa via SMS tanye pasal service diorang. and xsampai brape minit pastu WanPa reply SMS balik. 'bagus, pantas!' ms ff cakap dalam hati. pastu tak sempat ms ff nak reply balik SMS tu, WanPa call balik. Woahhhh...ini lagik amazing! mmg ms ff da start kagums da. yelah, sapela kite nak dibandingkan dengan WanPa yang glamer itu. huuu...

in my honest opinion, both WanPa (wan and rashid, his partner) themselves are very humble! takdela nak meninggi diri ke hape. the way they bring themselves sgt down-to-earth. bertambah lagik kagums n mmg ms ff tabik spring la!

Gelabah...

ms ff sudah mula merasakan kegelabahan ayam pasal wedding dress. ayam pon tak gelabah macam ms ff tau! oh tidak!

every night sebelum tido mesti terpikir2:
kat mane nak buat baju ni? design camane yg ms ff sgt2 mahu? bajet yg dah allocate kan tu perlu increase ke tidak? berbaloi ke nak spend banyak2 utk baju JE? made-for-fitting atau sewa dkt boutique je?

ahhh...stress stress stress!

kenape perlu stress? u still have time ait? NO! ms ff punye aim is nak at least dah decide and book xkesahlah kat boutique ataupon dengan designer BEFORE terbang ke uk...tapi setakat harini, masih belum ade progress yg memberangsangkan! huuuuu...

Wedding Dress: Najib Salman

Friday last week, ms ff went real pro-active with her wedding dresses' research. the first person ms ff contacted that day was najib salman. najib salman is now increasingly becoming the talk-of-the-town. banyak bloggers yang dah buat their dresses dgn najib salman. and i believe non-bloggers pon ramai yg dah kenal siapa najib salman ni.

i guess i don't need to paste his designs over here ait? u can just google his name and u'll get the hits...;P

ms ff suke najib salman's design...simple yet classy!

okey...the most sought-after information about any designers for most of the bride-to-be-s is definitely their PRICE  btol tak? hehe...

so...here, ms ff akan spill kan najib's price. TAPI sebelum itu, lemme just make a disclaimer that the price is according to what najib told me and it might change depending on najib salman himself. 

setakat yang ms ff tanye, inilah price nye:

untuk nikah, price for the bride's dress is RM1k

and for the groom's baju melayu is RM200

untuk reception, price for the bride's ranges from RM1.3k-RM1.7k

and for the groom's suit is RM880

prices exclude fabric/materials i.e. materials are at seperate cost

Salam...this morning before lunch time tadi, ms ff ter-bumped into hatta dolmat nye blog...sape yang tak kenal hatta dolmat, sila angkat tangan...see???takde sorang pon angkat tangan, meaning to say that sume orang pon kenal hatta dolmat ini...so ms ff takyah introduce who is hatta dolmat anymore ait? hehe...

well well...for 2012 brides, hatta dah open his service for booking...kalo u order, u akan dapat a complimentary of baju melayu for the groom and you can also get either a veil OR a shoes...

so ms ff saje la nak test market n just nk tahu range price for his couture...trus la ms ff text hatta...n to my surprise, he replied my text promptly...wow! thats professional aint it? ms ff tanye range harga die n he quoted me:

for nikah, the pricing starts from RM 6k++

for sanding, it starts from RM9k++

i tak tekejut la with his price...his design are good + has got quality + most of all, he has got an established name...so deserve la the price kan?

TAPI sayangnya, ms ff tidaklah sekaya itu utk berbelanja besar2an utk sepasang baju...i bukanlah dato' siti nurhaliza, erra fazira, mahupun memey suhaiza yang mampu utk berbelanja sebesar itu...tapi bagi yang mampu, feel free to contact him at +60173033091 atau you can go to his blog first to see his designs.

Salam...ms ff is in the midst of doing her research on wedding dress, but she stumbled upon infos on wedding veil...well, veil is part of the dress also kan? hehe...

do you know that actually veil ni ade byk jenis in terms on lengths?ms ff sgtla taktau not until today. huhu. i thought there's only "long" or "short" saja tapi sebenonye, ade jenis-jenis die "long" and "short" ni...

Make-up for both reception events inshaAllah settled. Deposit: check!

Only make-up for solemnization saja yang xkonfem lagi, but i da sort of identified which TRULY female MUA i wanna have for that particular event.

So considering settled (partially..hehe...), am now putting my binoculars on for a different angle pule.
